June 9, 2006 Corydon, IN: Shawn Spears defeated Armando Alejandro Estrada by pinfall.
Estrada offered Spears his box of cigars to just forfeit the match and go on home as
Estrada claimed he had better things to do on a Friday night. Spears took the box and
handed out cigars to the over 18 members of the crowd. Estrada charged after Spears
and received several chops for his efforts. Spears tries for a spear in the corner but
Estrada moves and Spears hit the post with his left shoulder. Estrada focused his
offense on the left shoulder for the rest of the match. Spears found an opening though
and hits a drop kick to gain the victory over Estrada. Source: Mike Giralico

June 8, 2006 - Louisville, KY: KC James went over Shawn Spears in the opener. KC was
his usual strutting southern babyface in the match but Spears got to showcase a lot of
offense in his loss. Spears concentrated most of his offense on the back and neck of KC.
Spears looked ready for the kill with KC hanging on for life in the corner, but spears
missed a running elbow in the corner giving KC all the opening he needed to turn the tide.
A couple of drop kicks and a jumping sit out power bomb later, KC had his hand raised in

June 3, 2006--OVW Hodgenville, KY: Mikey Batts & Shawn Spears defeated Los Locos
when Spears rolled up Ramon. The match started out with the teams feeling each other
out, trading arm twists and go behinds take downs. Eventually Ramon gets the upper
hand on Batts who is quickly isolated by Los Locos. Los Locos were on their heel game
tonight, baiting the ref into the ring so he would miss Batts' hot tag Spears and continue
to wear him down. Somehow during this, one of the turnbuckle covers magically fell off
(it was in a neutral corner). Spears finally gets the hot tag and is cleaning house and is
about to DDT Ramon when Raul nails Spears from behind. Batts takes Raul to the outside
and Ramon sets up spears for a slam. Spears worms out and shoves Ramon into the
exposed turnbuckle, Spears simply rolls up Ramon for the pin at that point. Source: Mike
